Join Vertical Scope Group’s (VSG) Professional Services Division in Canberra as we are seeking driven, highly skilled and competent, NV1/NV2/PV, APS5, Project Officers to join our award-winning team in supporting our Defence and National Intelligence Community customers.

About You
Previous experience with undertaking work that is complex in nature
Ability to operation with limited direction
Previous experience in organising workflow and being responsible for areas of business
Understanding of legislative frameworks, government decision making and policy requirement
Previous experience with specialist research and analysis, performing procedural and administrative support
Hold a current NV1, NV2 , PV clearance
About the Role
Accountable to contribute to the development and maintenance of project, program and/or portfolio planning and performance processes in accordance with agreed procedures and performance standards.
Assist with preparations for project test, evaluation and acceptance programs.
Apply project management methodologies to administrative and technical activities.
Research, draft and prepare briefs, correspondence and reports including submissions for committee consideration.
Work collaboratively, operate as an effective team member and provide constructive feedback.
Engage with relevant stakeholders and understand their expectations and concerns.
Adjust project management methodologies to comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.
Resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
Maintain project financial records under the direction of the Project Manager.
Conduct other project-related tasks within the scope of the stated APS level, as required by the assigned work area.
