ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. We have also been selected by the Australian Government to sustain and jointly build the nation’s nuclear-powered submarines – the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia’s history.
About the opportunity
Our Corporate Graduate Program is a unique and exciting early careers pathway dedicated to providing meaningful work, growth and security. Our graduates will receive tailored mentoring and support whilst gaining exposure through rotations across a range of departments prior to settling in a specific area at the end of the Program.
We are seeking Graduates with an interest to develop their career in Operations – Quality. This is a structured 2-year program which will commence in July 2025. We have opportunities in Henderson, Western Australia.
Responsibilities in this role include, but not limited to
The core purpose of the Operations Quality Team is to provide world class services and support to ASC and broader Submarine Enterprise.
Conduct work pack quality closeout audits, ensuring all requirements are met and work packs are compliant with ASC processes in support of certification requirements.
Interpret maintenance task work scopes, material requirements, specifications and drawings
Provide 2nd party witnessing for allocated hold points and provide technical work pack support to maintenance personnel to ensure work pack scan be closed out efficiently
Essential skill and experience
Degree in an engineering, business discipline or trade qualification
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office, Word and Excel.

Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
