Vertical Scope Group (VSG) are continuing to grow our team, and we are looking for a driven and highly skilled, TS PV cleared, Network Cloud Specliaist to join our award-winning team in delivering services to our customer in the National Security Community.
This is a unique opportunity to work within an advanced and security focused position. Due to the security sensitive nature of the position, specific details can only be shared with shortlisted candidates.
About You
Proven experience in network design, implementation, and management.
Strong understanding of telecommunications theory, practice, and experience.
Proficiency in programming with cloud-based languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, etc.).
Extensive knowledge of cloud technology, automation, and orchestration tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with network virtualization technologies (e.g., SDN, NFV).
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
About the Role
Design and architect advanced network systems tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients.
Lead and direct a small team of network engineers to implement and maintain the network infrastructure.
Ensure the network design adheres to best practices in telecommunications theory and practice.
Develop and implement network automation and orchestration strategies to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with cloud-based technologies.
Program and configure network components using current cloud-based languages and tools.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in network technology and telecommunications.
Implement and manage network security measures to protect data and infrastructure.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Provide training and support to team members and clients on network technologies and best practices.
