Who You Are

You’re a detail-oriented and highly knowledgeable Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with a strong foundation in managing the security of information systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigating cybersecurity risks. With expertise in risk assessment, security policies, and incident response, you excel at maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data. Your ability to identify vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and guide teams through complex security issues makes you a trusted expert in the field.

Known for your thorough understanding of security frameworks and your ability to maintain secure operating environments, you play a key role in ensuring the protection of KBR’s digital assets and systems. What You’ll Do

In the role of Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), your duties will include:

Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes leading to successful Authority to Operate decisions across multiple platforms
Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments
Perform key cybersecurity analyses and use technical risk management principles to assess Air Force Platform Information Technology (PIT) systems
Review program documentation (e.g., concept, requirements, design, manuals, reports, deficiency/change reports and program schedules) to ensure that established security requirements are adequately addressed and sustained
Perform document review and editing, as requested
Support, coordinate, and assist with Program Management/Milestone driven events, etc., including Program Protection requirements as requested
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen
Must Possess a US TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.
Possess a BS/BA Computer Science degree, or a related Cybersecurity fields with 5 years of experience
Must possess an IAM/IAT Level II certification
Familiarity with DoDD 5205.07 (Vol 1-4), DoDIs 8500.01 & 8510.01, NIST SP 800-53, JSIG, and RMF

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Degree
IAM/IAT Level III certification
Prior performance in role as ISSO
Experience implementing RMF for DoD weapons systems
Experience in developing Cybersecurity products e.g. System Security Plan (SSP), Architecture Analysis Report (AAR), Security Assessment Report (SAR), Risk Assessment Report (RAR)

This role will be located in Alice Springs. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
