Overview

This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP***

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, responsible for the Maintenance services and repairs of Vehicle Radio Installation Kits. Provide maintenance and repair of tactical communication systems installed in track and wheel vehicles. Responsible for inventorying and reordering parts for bench stock re-supply. #clearance

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

Perform full range of vehicle radios systems at the Field Level of maintenance.
Complete work assignment within required man hours standards and requirements.
Uses correct technical manuals, bulletins, and written directives in the performance of duty.
Troubleshoots equipment, diagnoses problems, and performs corrective actions.
Orders required repair parts using appropriate parts manuals and/or automated systems.
Conducting service checks and performing routine maintenance to keep electronics functioning properly.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications:
Three years related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain host nation driver license.
Must be able to obtain secret clearance and should be able to maintain the required clearance
Must be CAC eligible and/or ability to obtain a CAC
Experience:
One year work experience in communication maintenance
Skills:
A working knowledge of test equipment.
Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.
Ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels to include multinational staff, superiors, and ranking military officers.
Ability to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion.
Intermediate ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written.
Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
High-level organization and planning skills so workflow is managed efficiently and accurately.
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets reports and documents.
Working Conditions:
Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, rain). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
Physical Requirements:
Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
