Security Services Group (SSG)

The Security Services Group is a specialist business unit within DIO providing security solutions across the MOD and wider Government Estate. With over 230 staff in the UK, Germany, Cyprus, and Gibraltar, SSG designs, installs, and maintains critical security systems, ensuring the safety of Defence Operations. We have vacancies available in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. As an Assistant Accounts Officer, your responsibilities will include:

Invoice and Purchase Order Management: Reconciling invoices and purchase orders, ensuring accurate records and audit trails.
Debt Chasing and Month-End Closures: Supporting the team in resolving outstanding debts and contributing to the completion of month-end financial processes.
Cash Management and Bank Reconciliation: Handling cash transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and conducting sales and debt analysis.
Communication and Liaison: Regularly liaising with SSG staff, customers, and suppliers to meet the organisation’s business needs effectively.

Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working.
