Utilizing commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) technology, the system is easily reconfigurable to accommodate various ship classes while maintaining a consistent computer infrastructure.

India | HUMSA-NG (MK 2)

The HUMSA-NG (MK 2) is a cutting-edge, fourth-generation sonar system specifically designed for shipborne applications, developed by the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL) in Kochi and produced by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) in Bangalore for the Indian Navy. This advanced sonar system features simultaneous active and passive operation modes, equipped with two high-resolution multifunction display consoles that enhance usability.
