Naval Group is delivering twelve minesweeping vessels—six each for the Belgian and Dutch Navies—equipped to deploy around one hundred drones, thanks to innovations that ensure safe and simple operation.
With its subsidiary Kership, Naval Group offers a comprehensive range of Offshore Patrol Vessels that are innovative, robust, affordable, and simple to operate and maintain. These vessels are designed for maritime surveillance and security operations for both French and foreign navies.
A 360° naval defence is a reality reflected in multiple naval programs. Amongst these are ships delivered as part of export contracts: Belh@rra® defence and intervention frigates (FDI), Gowind®, ocean-going corvettes with stealth and endurance, minehunters, multimission armed patrol vessels, the Ocean Patrol Vessels (OPV). More recently, Vagir, a conventional Scorpène® class submarine was successfully delivered to the Indian Navy in January 2023, thanks to a unique transfer of technology program contributing to the navy’s autonomy.
Modern ground assets rely on continuous Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) availability for positioning, navigation and timing (PNT). GNSS signal jamming and interference, easily achieved by cheap, low-end equipment, can seriously degrade GNSS Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) even to the point of total solution denial.
