Naval Group has been present in Malaysia through its subsidiary BDNC since 2009, working to establish the Malaysian submarine force by constructing submarines, training crews, and building maintenance infrastructure.
Established in 2008, Naval Group India supports the P75 program for the construction of six Kalvari-class submarines for the Indian Navy, including engineering, technology transfer, and local industry collaboration.
Mistral class Landing Helicopter Docks (LHD) are versatile and capable, used for joint force projection and support operations. They have supported humanitarian missions such as transferring COVID-19 patients in 2020.
In partnership with Chantiers de l'Atlantique, Naval Group provides a new logistics support vessel with unmatched refuelling capabilities and flexible architecture, essential for naval operations.
A 360° naval defence is a reality reflected in multiple naval programs. Amongst these are ships delivered as part of export contracts: Belh@rra® defence and intervention frigates (FDI), Gowind®, ocean-going corvettes with stealth and endurance, minehunters, multimission armed patrol vessels, the Ocean Patrol Vessels (OPV). More recently, Vagir, a conventional Scorpène® class submarine was successfully delivered to the Indian Navy in January 2023, thanks to a unique transfer of technology program contributing to the navy’s autonomy.
