Providing the critical communication link for all your Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) requirements, Viasat’s ISR services deliver the broadband data links that help ensure situational awareness.
Fully interoperable with MILSATCOM Ka-band networks, our HCP steerable beams allow authorized military users to access our wideband capacity as part of their own independent network.
ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) missions are a cornerstone of Viasat’s support capabilities. Our expertise and sophistication in antenna design, high rate modems, security, and information assurance make us a trusted provider for ISR operations around the world.
Viasat is an industry-leading source for the design, development, deployment, operation, and maintenance of satellite systems, networking technologies, and wireless communication systems.
V2X provides sensor integration that protects select U.S. installations against chemical, biological, and radiological (CBR) attacks. To improve performance, we developed an Internet-of-Things (IoT) application driven by V2X analytic tools. The solution delivers real-time situational awareness and provides input that drives preventative maintenance schedules and predictive analytics to support staffing decisions. We also integrate CBR sensor data with force protection surveillance tools, creating a common operational picture that speeds incident response.
The AN/ALE-47(V) countermeasure system dispenses chaff and flares for defense purposes and includes sub-systems like safety switches and dispensers for various applications.
The Extant Aerospace Tracker and Camera systems support weapon systems, test range instrumentation, Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, and long-range optical tracking. These systems are primarily used in land-based and maritime platforms supporting Defense markets as well as some Space-based applications. The associated Tracker Cards are available in multiple different input configurations, including PCIe, VME, 3G-SDI.
Extant Aerospace offers multiple lightweight handheld radar systems (Range-R®) designed to detect people through walls and structural barriers made from common building materials. Within seconds, the Range-R 2D displays the presence of moving and stationary persons, indicating the range (distance) and position (bearing) of targets in a plan view format. The Range-R 2D Link adds secure Wi-Fi capability for remote operation up to 100 meters.
The TEAC MDR80 is a solid-state Mission Data Recorder (MDR) that serves as a plug-and-play upgrade to tape-based data recorders. Features include SD video, A/C data, and USB 2.0. The TEAC MDR87 supports simultaneous record and playback with up to eight video channels.
The EXP5000 Primary Flight Display is a 10.4” display designed to continuously show primary flight parameters (attitude, airspeed, altitude, and heading/track) as required by FAA standards. Extant offers repair services only.
Extant Aerospace supports the sustainment, manufacturing, and repair of mission data recorders and weapon interface units, including VADR® systems suitable for data and voice recording.
Stormscope systems provide real-time thunderstorm avoidance with flexible display and installation options. The system includes pilot-selectable modes, automatic updates, and integration with collision avoidance systems.
