PLATFORM COMPONENTS AND MECHANISMS (AERO)

United States | Composite Structures

General Dynamics Mission Systems is a leader in the design and production of lightweight composite structural components and integrated assemblies for both commercial and military aircraft. With over 60 years of experience, the company specializes in providing advanced solutions such as wing and fuselage structures, flight control surfaces, doors, and engine components. These aerospace composite structures offer significant benefits, including weight reduction, impact absorption, and extended product life. General Dynamics supports platforms such as the F-22 Raptor, F-16, and C-17 Globemaster III, delivering durable and cost-effective aerospace solutions.

United States | STOW BIN STRUCTURE COMPONENTS

Pexco Aerospace excels in delivering custom-colored and cost-effective solutions to the most challenging of profiles, using lightweight PEI or Polycarbonate to replace traditional and heavier metal structure components in the stow bin section of the aircraft. For the most demanding structural applications, glass or carbon fiber filled materials can be used to create the right mix of aesthetic qualities and structural performance, at a fraction of the weight of metallics.

United States | MACHINED POLYMERS FOR AIRCRAFT CABINS

Machined polymers for aircraft cabins are a practical, low-cost solution compared to alternate forms of manufacturing. Our processing technologies meet the challenge of utilizing highly engineered plastics with unique physical properties by providing a wide range of solutions.

United States | FABRICATION FOR AIRCRAFT CABIN COMPONENTS

Pexco offers in-house fabrication for aircraft cabin components, reducing the number of suppliers needed to produce a finished product. Our skilled team provides tool design and development, followed by efficient fabrication and assembly of both extruded and machined parts. Fabricated and/or assembled plastic products provide lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective solutions compared to other forms of manufacture. With our longstanding reputation as experts in plastics applications, our customers frequently depend on us for technical knowledge in tool design and development, delivering the quality product you require. As an example, Pexco Aerospace can build an extrusion tool, extrude a product, and then machine it to a finished configuration. For lower volume components, this can be considerably cheaper than building injection molding tooling.

United States | EXTRUDED POLYMER PARTS FOR AIRPLANES

For over 30 years, Pexco Aerospace has been serving the aerospace industry’s unique and custom needs. Our ability to manufacture solutions to meet our customer’s most demanding requirements has established Pexco Aerospace as the go-to supplier for aircraft polymer extrusions, machined polymers, and fabrication needs. We are known by our customers, both big and small, as a trusted supplier and an invaluable contributor to design projects. Our facility was custom designed to support the extrusion process, which consist of 18 Extruders and 6 Co-Extruders furnishing the most critical components required by our valued customers. To support the extrusion process, Pexco Aerospace continually invests in and innovates state of the art support equipment to provide tight tolerance, consistent finishes, in-line fabrication, and real time inspections.

United States | CABIN AIR DISTRIBUTION COMPONENTS

For your cabin air distribution applications, we utilize custom colored materials including PEI and Polycarbonate to manufacture plastic components ranging from nozzles and plenums to ducting. Our engineering capabilities can form your products to fit various assembly applications (i.e. the ceiling or wall arch, or around various obstructions). Additionally, we perform sub assembly incorporating felts, seals and/or other materials for insulation and noise reduction.

United States | GENERAL STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS FOR AIRPLANE CABINS

Pexco Aerospace manufactures general structural aircraft parts by combining complex thermoplastic components with composite structures as an alternative to metallics. Our custom products result in strong joining products for added protection and are an essential within the aircraft interior.
