United States | Blue Force Tracking

Viasat’s Blue Force Tracking services allow tactical commanders to make key decisions and communicate information to military assets, anywhere in the world. We enable situational awareness and command and control down to dismounted soldiers and deliver highly reliable, secure satellite-based capabilities that are flexible and scalable across the combat space.

United States | Video Tracker System

The Extant Aerospace Tracker and Camera systems support weapon systems, test range instrumentation, Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, and long-range optical tracking. These systems are primarily used in land-based and maritime platforms supporting Defense markets as well as some Space-based applications. The associated Tracker Cards are available in multiple different input configurations, including PCIe, VME, 3G-SDI.

United States | Through-Wall Radar

Extant Aerospace offers multiple lightweight handheld radar systems (Range-R®) designed to detect people through walls and structural barriers made from common building materials. Within seconds, the Range-R 2D displays the presence of moving and stationary persons, indicating the range (distance) and position (bearing) of targets in a plan view format. The Range-R 2D Link adds secure Wi-Fi capability for remote operation up to 100 meters.

United States | TEAC Mission Data Recorder

The TEAC MDR80 is a solid-state Mission Data Recorder (MDR) that serves as a plug-and-play upgrade to tape-based data recorders. Features include SD video, A/C data, and USB 2.0. The TEAC MDR87 supports simultaneous record and playback with up to eight video channels.

United States | Primary Flight Display

The EXP5000 Primary Flight Display is a 10.4” display designed to continuously show primary flight parameters (attitude, airspeed, altitude, and heading/track) as required by FAA standards. Extant offers repair services only.

United States | Multifunction Display

The Avidyne EX5000 is a 10.4” multifunction display that integrates with navigation and communication systems for comprehensive flight data, including mapping, weather, terrain, and traffic. Repairs are offered by Extant only.

United States | Mission Data Recorders

Extant Aerospace supports the sustainment, manufacturing, and repair of mission data recorders and weapon interface units, including VADR® systems suitable for data and voice recording.

United States | Lightning Detection System

Stormscope systems provide real-time thunderstorm avoidance with flexible display and installation options. The system includes pilot-selectable modes, automatic updates, and integration with collision avoidance systems.

United States | Programmable Integrated Communications Terminal

The Programmable Integrated Communications Terminal (PICT) by Extant Aerospace is designed for secure and non-secure voice communications in military and industrial applications. It features a user-programmable touch screen and supports various communication modes and interfaces.

United States | Improved Data Modem

The Improved Data Modem (IDM) enables data communication between air and ground systems and between IDM-equipped aircraft, supporting protocols like AFAPD, TACFIRE, and more.

Canada | Gemini Tandem

Combines high carrying capacity with exceptional flight performance and unique glide modulation capability. Attachment of the drogue in the middle of the container between the main and reserve compartment, ensuring a flat and comfortable position for the jumper under drogue. Container Out-Of-Sequence-Deployment Security protection against out of sequence deployments where the main deployment bag becomes free from the main container during droguefall. Unique dual-stage drogue collapse ensures a smooth pull of the deployment bag out of its container, reducing the snatch force and eliminating the trap-door effect at drogue release.

Canada | MicroFly II

Improve military mission capabilities without compromising safety or increasing training requirements. The MicroFly II is an autonomous equipment delivery system that emphasizes ease of use, flexibility, and low cost. Keep the unit intact and in control of its equipment through the entire insertion phase of the operation. Use with any ram-air canopy, including the Airborne Systems Intruder (RA-1), MC-4, MC-5, or others based on mission requirements.

Canada | FireFly

GUIDED PRECISION AERIAL DELIVERY SYSTEM. The system’s guidance, navigation and control software analyzes its environment in real time, ensuring accurate payload delivery. Carries unmanned payloads up to 2,200 lb (1000 kg). Can be dropped from altitudes up to 24,500 feet. Flies 25 kilometers or more given environmental conditions.

Canada | DragonFly

GUIDED PRECISION AERIAL DELIVERY SYSTEM. Featuring a fully elliptical ram-air parachute canopy, it has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to land within 150 meters of a designated Impact Point. Compatible with the current U.S. JPADS Mission Planner (JPADS MP). Selected as the Cargo Delivery System of choice for the U.S. 10,000 lb. Joint Precision Aerial Delivery System (JPADS 10k) Program.

Canada | Unicross

LOW COST CARGO DELIVERY PARACHUTE. Airborne Systems designs and manufactures a low cost cargo parachute that can be utilized as a one-time system or repacked and reused as necessary. Easily assemble or make repairs in the field without sewing. Eliminates the requirement to recover the deployment bag into the aircraft with the release-away static line. Reduce costs on assembly, training and maintenance.
