The CAE MAVRC™ Trainer (Mission Augmented Virtual Reality/Rear Crew Trainer) is an innovative training system designed to enhance the skills of rear crew members through advanced mixed reality technologies. This state-of-the-art trainer features a fully functional and reconfigurable physical replica of an aircraft fuselage, complete with realistic interior components such as simulated aircraft panels and multi-function displays. Equipped with operational doors, windows, and a functioning ramp, it allows for comprehensive training in scenarios like aeromedical evacuation, search and rescue, surveillance, and confined area landings. The immersive experience is further enhanced by a head-mounted display (HMD) that projects a virtual environment outside the aircraft while enabling crewmembers to interact with their realistic surroundings, ensuring high levels of engagement and mission realism.

The CAE IDEAtion Center is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to advanced modeling and simulation for defense and security applications. This center focuses on high-fidelity, physics-based modeling that encompasses the entire mission rather than isolated components. Utilizing an innovative Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) simulation environment, it integrates multi-domain scenarios across air, land, maritime, space, and cyber domains, allowing users to collaboratively evaluate mission strategies and tactics in a wide range of complex situations. The IDEAtion Center is designed to support the development of system-level solutions that address the challenges posed by anti-access/area denial (A2/AD) environments, making it a crucial asset as adversaries enhance their technological capabilities. With the capacity to simulate over 10,000 entities, the center offers unparalleled computational power for mission planning and experimentation.

Canada | C-130 Tampa Training Center

The C-130 Tampa Training Center, operated by CAE in Tampa, Florida, is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to training operators of the Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules aircraft. This comprehensive center offers bilingual (English/Spanish) aircrew and maintenance courses utilizing advanced simulators, fixed and desktop training devices, and a fuselage trainer. With over 25 multimedia classrooms and specialized training rooms for maintenance and Night Vision Instrument Systems, the center tailors its courseware to meet the unique needs of each customer. Additional amenities include a cafeteria, customer lounges, and locker and shower facilities, making it an ideal environment for Flight Engineers, Loadmasters, Maintenance Technicians, Navigators, and Pilots to enhance their skills in a supportive setting.

Canada | CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose Training Centre (MPTC)

The CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose Training Centre (MPTC), located in Brunei Darussalam, is a premier training facility established in 2014 through a collaboration between CAE and the Government of Brunei. Recognized as one of the largest helicopter simulator training centers in the region, it specializes in providing comprehensive training solutions for the Lockheed Martin/Sikorsky S-92 and S-70i Black Hawk helicopters. The MPTC also features an Emergency Management and Crisis Management Centre of Excellence, offering tailored training programs to local authorities, including Brunei’s Ministry of Home Affairs and National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC), to enhance their emergency preparedness. In response to evolving training needs, CAE has introduced instructor-led virtual emergency management training, enabling learners to participate from anywhere, thereby transforming traditional classroom learning into a flexible online format.

The CAE Dothan Training Center is a premier facility dedicated to providing comprehensive flight training for the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps. Specializing in the Fixed-Wing Flight Training Service program, the center offers essential training for rotary-wing aviators transitioning to fixed-wing aircraft, including the C-12 Huron and various King Air models. With a focus on initial qualification and recurrent training, the center features five and three-day refresher courses, as well as a unique three-day Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) course in collaboration with Aviation Performance Solutions (APS). Established in 2023, the center also supports the U.S. Air Force's Introductory Flight Training – Rotary-Wing program, ensuring that military personnel receive top-notch instruction in a state-of-the-art environment.

The CAE Sale Military Training Centre, situated in Sale, Victoria, has been operational since February 2014, following a contract from Australia ,’s Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group. This state-of-the-art facility specializes in providing simulator services for the King Air 350 Pro Line II, under a company-owned/company-operated (COCO) model. CAE is responsible for all operational aspects of the training centre, including facility maintenance and support through 2018. CAE's Tactics and Procedures Trainers offer advanced training solutions for armoured fighting vehicles (AFV) by providing a series of reconfigurable classroom desktop team and crew stations. These simulators create a common synthetic environment that enables comprehensive training for commanders, crew members, and system operators at up to the company level. The system supports various tactical training scenarios by integrating virtual entities and allowing desktop trainers to function as role-players, enhancing realism with command posts, air/ground support, and surveillance elements. Configurable for different levels of command—from individual commanders to collective troop formations—the trainers can also interoperate with the CAE GESI constructive simulation system, facilitating integrated training for Company and Battalion units as part of a Brigade exercise.

The CAE UAS Mission Trainer is a versatile, platform-independent training system designed for comprehensive unmanned aircraft system (UAS) education.
