COMPONENT MANUFACTURING AND INTEGRATION (LAND)

United States | Cadmium

The silver or gold colored finish provides an attractive, corrosion resistant coating over iron or steel. It provides a superior coating on parts or assemblies consisting of dissimilar metals such as brass and steel.

United States | Ti-Cad

(Titanium / Cadmium Plating) Ti-Cad has several times the corrosion resistance of the usual cadmium coating and is designed to minimize potential Hydrogen Embrittlement. This is normally used on high heat treated parts of 220 KSI and above.

United States | Zinc-Nickel

The corrosion resistant coating replaces cadmium plating in many aerospace uses. Hytek has multiple tanks for both ID/OD plating.

United States | Electroless Nickel

Hytek offers the acid version of this metallic coating. It is usually plated over steel or aluminum for its hard, corrosion-resistant finish. Electroless nickel is harder and resists wear much better than its electrolytic cousin and it prevents galling and wear. Electroless nickel is ideal for complex shapes and small diameter holes.

United States | Sulfuric

Clear in appearance, a sulfuric acid anodized coating is a very popular coating for decorative use with good corrosion resistance. This is a porous coating which is ideal for applying dyes.

United States | Boric

Boric Sulfuric Acid Anodize has superior corrosion resistance and excellent base for paint. This coating is a substitute for chromic acid anodize.

United States | Chromic

This traditional anodize coating process system is corrosion resistant and a very good base for paint.

United States | Hardcoat

Hardcoat produces a heavy dense coating that provides greater wear resistance and corrosion protection. This coating can also be dyed a variety of colors.

United States | Chem Treat

Chemical Treatment #7 (Dow 7): The dichromate coating is light to dark brown in appearance. It provides a good paint base and fair corrosion resistance. This treatment causes no appreciable dimensional changes to the parts.

United States | Shot Peen

Shot Peening is a process that induces compressive stresses into the part, thereby increasing fatigue strength and improving stress corrosion resistance. Hytek offers a wide range of computer controlled peening methods and materials servicing OEMs worldwide. We also offer computer controlled ID peening and Glass bead peening.

United States | Abrasive Blasting

Abrasive blasting is used to remove heat treat scale, contamination and surface defects. It is also used as preparation of surfaces prior to painting and plating. Plastic media blasting used to remove organic finishes without damage to the substrate.

United States | Polish & Buffing

Metals which are commonly polished include aluminum, stainless steel, titanium and chromium. Aluminum is usually anodized with sulfuric acid after polishing to increase durability and enhance appearance.

Germany | Linear Actuator – ERAIA 440-1

The actuator operates the emergency air intake of Europe’s most modern military transport aircraft. It is engineered to withstand the harshest environmental operating conditions.

Germany | Linear Actuator – ERAIA 41-2

The actuator is used to control the emergency ram air intake with one permanent magnet DC motor. It operates via a two-step reduction gear train and an acme jack screw with high static load capacity.

Germany | Linear Actuator – AIDA 520-1

The actuator activates the air intake duct of the APU. An acme jack screw is driven via a two-step gear train, forming a linear, self-locking output. The stroke is limited electrically.
