Parker Aerospace's wing tank pump is a spar-mounted pump designed to supply fuel to the aircraft engine. The maximum discharge pressure is limited by an internal valve, and reverse flow through the pump is prevented by check valves.
Parker's aerospace hose, piping and tubing solutions include elastomeric, PTFE, metal tube and flexible hose combination assemblies for medium- to high-pressure fluid conveyance in demanding fuel, oil and hydraulic aerospace systems as well as composite ducting that ensures the smooth transfer of onboard waste-tank contents to ground service receptacles.
Parker Aerospace's thermal management solutions include macrolaminate-technology heat exchangers that offer increased thermal performance and complex flow circuits, conformal geometries, and dual thermal and structural functions; single- and two-phase liquid cooling cold plates; liquid-cooled multiple platform enclosures (MPE); and liquid-cooled enclosures that provide up to four kW of cooling.
The main engine oil tank incorporates the reservoir, air/oil separator, sight gauge, filler cap, and pressure regulating valve. The reservoir can be made of a stainless steel weldment or aluminum with a fire blanket.
Potable water tanks contain the safe drinking water on an aircraft. Parker Aerospace custom designs these FDA-compliant tanks to meet space constraints and application requirements.
Parker's array of aerospace tanks and reservoirs includes remote engine oil replenishment units (REORU) for oil monitoring and distribution to multiple engines; fireproof main engine oil tanks with integrated reservoirs, air/oil separators, sight gauges, filler caps, and pressure regulating valves; ecology tanks to capture fluids for postflight disposal; and hydraulic brake fluid reservoirs.
Parker Aerospace's selection of accumulators includes customizable gas-charged piston accumulators in minimal-weight composite wraps that allow for higher pressure and “boot-strap” reservoirs that are available in different sizes and that provide closed-system, hydraulic fluid storage for today's leading military and commercial aircraft.
