Semiconductor Firm Melexis Forecasts Lower Sales and Margins for First Half of 2025
• Melexis, Belgium’s largest semiconductor supplier, predicts lower sales and margins in the first half of 2025 due to inventory corrections by automotive customers.
• Operating margin is expected to reach around 16% in the first half, down from 26.3% in 2024.
• Sales are expected to range from 190 million to 200 million euros ($197.1 million to $207.5 million) in the first quarter, compared to 228.6 million euros in the previous year.
• Melexis does not provide sales or earnings guidance for the full year, but expects sales to significantly increase in the second half of 2025.
