• Rolls-Royce Submarines Ltd, a subsidiary of Rolls-Royce Holdings, has secured a multi-year defence contract to produce nuclear submarine reactors for the Royal Navy.
• The £9bn deal, dubbed Unity, stretches over eight years and includes research and technology, design, manufacture, and in-service support of the nuclear reactors that power the Royal Navy’s fleet of submarines.
• The deal is the biggest ever between the Ministry of Defence and Rolls-Royce.
