• Rolls-Royce has signed a £9bn deal with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) to design, build, and service nuclear reactors for the Royal Navy’s fleet of submarines.
• The eight-year, £9 billion contract includes research and technology, design, production, and maintenance support for the nuclear reactors that power the Royal Navy’s fleet of submarines.
• The deal is expected to create more than 1,000 UK jobs and safeguard a further 4,000 roles.
