Lockheed Martin wins new contract to support Singapore’s upgraded F-16s
• Lockheed Martin has secured an $8.7-million contract to upgrade the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s F-16 fighter jets.

• The contract extension will cover consolidated spare parts as part of Singapore’s F-16 modernization program, bringing the total contract value to approximately $1.1 billion.
• Lockheed Martin has been awarded an additional $8.7 million for spares to support the upgrade of Singapore’s F-16 fighter jets and ensure it meets modern warfare requirements.
• The work on the aircraft will be performed at Fort Worth, and is expected to be completed by the middle of 2025.
• The US Department of Defense has awarded a $914m contract to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics to upgrade Singapore’s fleet of F-16 aircraft.
• The work under the Foreign Military Sales contract will be completed by June 2023.
