It features two operational modes: Proximity, which detonates the HE shell at a predetermined height of 10±6 meters, and Point Detonation Super Quick (PDSQ), which activates upon impact with a surface target. With a minimum safety distance of 100 meters from the muzzle end, adjustable settings ranging from 3 to 190 seconds, and a shelf life of at least 15 years under sheltered storage, this fuze meets stringent safety standards as per MIL-STD-1316E and STANAG 4187.
