FajarBaru, partner Avionics bag RM131.6mil contract from Australian Department of Defence
• Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd (FBG) and Avionics Pty Ltd have secured a RM131.6m contract from the Australian Department of Defence.
• The contract sum for the delivery phase is RM131.6mil, with FBG Builder Sdn Bhd securing RM75.9mil, while APL’s portion stands at RM55.7mil.
• The contract is part of the Delivery Phase to the Head Contract (International) Two Phase from the Australian Department of Defence, Commonwealth of Australia.
• FBG will receive RM75.9 million of the total, while its joint venture partner, Avionics Pty Ltd (APL), is entitled to RM55.7 million.
• The contract is part of a larger project to redevelop military facilities at the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) base in Butterworth, Penang, Malaysia.
• The contract is part of a larger project to expand the scope of works in the redevelopment of military facilities at the RMAF base.
