Fajarbaru Awarded RM131.6 Million Delivery Phase Contract By Australian Govt
• Fajarbaru Builder Group (FBG) and Avionics Pty Ltd have secured a RM131.6 million delivery phase contract from the Australian Department of Defence.
• The contract is for the Head Contract (International) Two Phase of the Butterworth infrastructure project at the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) base in Butterworth, Penang.
• FBG’s subsidiary, FBG Builder Sdn Bhd, will receive RM75.9 million of the total.
• The contract was first awarded to the JV on July 10, 2023, for the planning phase of the project.
• FGB’s portion of the contract has a value of RM7.36 million, which will commence on July 10, 2023, and is scheduled to be completed by November 13, 2023.
• The contract is a significant milestone for the company, demonstrating its commitment to redeveloping military facilities for the Australian Department of Defence.
• The contract is expected to be completed by November 13, 2023.
• FGB’s CEO, Datuk Sri Eric Kuan Khian Leng, praised the contract as a significant milestone for the company.
