Draken awarded £173m to ‘face off’ against British jets
• Draken, a subsidiary of adversary air training company Draken, has secured a £173m training contract with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) to enhance the readiness of the UK Armed Forces against various threats.
• The contract will be extended for four years, enabling ongoing military training support with the RAF.
• Draken will use 14 Dassault Falcon 20, one Diamond DA42, and eight L-159E ‘Honey Badger’ fighter jets based at Teesside and Bournemouth.
