BAE Systems Wins £285m Royal Navy Combat Systems Contract

• BAE Systems has been awarded a contract by UK Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) to upgrade the combat management systems of Royal Navy warships.
• The contract, worth £285m ($354.7-million), will involve maintenance and enhancement services on the Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers, Type 23 Duke-class frigates, Type 26 City-class frigates, and Type 45 Daring-class destroyers.
