BAE Systems awarded NERVE contract
• BAE Systems has been awarded a $347 million contract by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) to modernize and sustain the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) Enterprise Repository and Virtual Environment (NERVE) program.
• The contract will be indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, and will be for five years.
• The NERVE will modernize the NSG Consolidated Library (NCL), which will expand from a physical data center to a cloud.
• The contract will enable faster data processing and new capabilities.
• The NSG Consolidated Library will be expanded from a physical data center to a cloud.
• The contract is part of the NGA’s efforts to update and sustain NGA’s National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NGA).
• The contract is expected to be completed by 2025.
