Babcock secures EUR 795 million contract to train French military pilots
• Babcock International has secured a 17-year contract worth EUR 795 million to provide and support air training solutions for the French Air and Space Force and French Navy.
• The contract, awarded by the Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA), includes the delivery of 22 new PC-7 MkX Pilatus aircraft and 12 advanced training simulators.
• The training will be conducted on 22 new PC-7 MkX Pilatus turboprop aircraft and on 12 training simulators provided by Babcock at Salon-de-Provence Air Base.
• The contract will last for 17 years and covers provision to support military air training for the French navy, air and space forces.
