The opportunity
We are seeking a talented, motivated and professional Aviation Maintenance Repair & Operations Manager to join the world class Air Combat Electronic Attack (ACEA) Sustainment Program supporting the RAAF F/A-18F & EA-18G Aircraft fleet, with the role based onsite at RAAF Base Amberley.
Responsibilities:
Provide Technical Leadership & Management to a Part 145 Maintenance Team
Using advanced soft skills perform Leadership & Management functions for 20 to 40 Technical Personnel ensuring team safety, harmony, technical development, authorisation & training obligations and personal welfare are promoted
Ensure team objectives are met and reported by applying ethical values to our organisational behaviours, whilst maintaining compliance to applicable regulations & standards including Legislative, DASR, ISO & Boeing
Experience/Qualifications
Qualifications in Maintenance and or Engineering in an Aviation discipline
Experience in managing Technical Personnel within a CASA, DASA or equivalent accredited organisation
Defence experience is highly regarded but not essential
Essential Criteria:
Applicants must be Australian Citizens and
Meet Defence Security Requirements, with the ability to progress to Negative Vetting 1
